MILLERE GROVE, KEW
HERITAGE RESTORATION AND ARCHITECTURAL RENOVATION
Miller Grove began as a remarkably preserved Edwardian residence—an untouched piece of Melbourne's architectural history waiting to be thoughtfully reimagined for a new generation of family living.
Rich in original character, the home retained its tuck-pointed brick façade, soaring ceilings and beautifully coloured leadlight windows, providing an exceptional foundation for a carefully considered restoration. Every intervention was guided by a respect for the building's heritage, allowing its original craftsmanship to remain at the forefront while introducing a contemporary addition that responds effortlessly to the needs of modern life.
Throughout the home, bespoke joinery, finely crafted detailing and a restrained material palette create a sense of quiet luxury. Natural light filters through carefully composed spaces, while the transition between heritage and contemporary architecture feels seamless—each room unfolding with warmth, balance and purpose.
At the heart of the project was a shared commitment to quality. Working closely with our clients, whose trust, enthusiasm and appreciation for thoughtful craftsmanship shaped the journey from beginning to end, made the process both collaborative and immensely rewarding. Together with architect Tom Robertson and an exceptional team of skilled trades, every detail was resolved with care, resulting in a home that feels authentic, timeless and deeply connected to its history.
Today, Miller Grove stands as a refined family residence that honours its Edwardian origins while embracing a new chapter—one where heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary living exist in complete harmony.
